George Kucik

George Kucik retired from the Metropolitan Police Department, Washington, DC as the Deputy Chief in charge of the Criminal Investigations Division. He spent the majority of his career working in investigative units and drafted the department's first comprehensive Homicide SOP. After retiring from MPDC, he formed his own investigative, consulting firm and continues to conduct investigations and consult with numerous clients. He also worked with the Police Executive Research Forum as a subject matter expert for their Improving Homicide Investigations Technical Assistance Project.
