John Wilkinson

John Wilkinson is an Attorney Advisor with AEquitas and has 15 years of criminal litigation experience as both an Assistant Commonwealth’s Attorney and public defender in Fredericksburg, VA. John has expertise in homicide, gang/group violence, gun violence, major felonies, witness intimidation, human trafficking, domestic violence, sexual violence, and stalking. John has broad training and technical assistance experience, including his work at the National District Attorneys Association (NDAA) where he was Program Manager for the Gun Violence Prosecution Program, Homeland Security Program, and Southwest Border Crime Program. John also serves as the project lead for the Bureau of Justice Assistance’s Smart Prosecution - Innovative Prosecution Solutions Program.
